The 10th School on Acousto-Optics and Applications starts on Monday, 12 May 2008, and finishes on Thursday, 15 May 2008.

Venue

The School will be held at Imperial Hotel in Sopot. This Baltic resort, located between Gdańsk and Gdynia constitutes Tri-City - the agglomeration with a population of nearly one million. With its clean, sandy beaches and Art Nouveau architecture, Sopot is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Poland. The hotel is situated in the vicinity of the beach next to the promenade and characteristic Chinese restaurant, between the fishing harbour and famous Sopot Pier - the longest European wooden pier (511.5 m). You will enjoy here a unique microclimate of the spa resort. As the town offers a wide range of entertainment, you can find here a lot of interesting things and places to see.
